How many of you would have made this pattern and not matched the design at CF?

There are a couple reasons I don't make outfits for the DGDs competitions.

The first is their Mom & Dad does not like home-sewed clothes.

And the second, I live about 1100-miles from them, so it is very difficult to fit them properly.

Granted, I do make them play clothes and sometimes a skirt, but not often.

Betsy, I know that, especially with the embroidery machines and other new techniques. I understand why they are like that, and have learned to live with it; fortunately the other DGC liked "Gramma-made" clothes" when they were young. Now all are in their 20s, working and most have dress codes. I still make pajama pants for the boys, including the DGSIL, as well as shorts, tops and frilly nightgowns for the girls. Most of them are getting aprons for Christmas, some denim embroidered and others of canvas appliqued and embroidered. Emily

Betsy, I had a dear aunt that passed away several years ago, and left me all her patterns, some dating back to the 1930s. There are several different styles in the box, plus I ordered one cobbler from Nancy Zieman before I got them. Both my SILs cook, as does my DGSIL, so I'll make some masculine ones, too.
