How to alter pattern at bust?

I've been sewing for ages but have never been brave enough to try pattern adjustments. I have always taken the easy way out and just put up with a close-enough fit.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the bust of a pattern? I know that commercial patterns are designed for a b-cup. I require a c-cup. Is there an easy adjustment I can make to get a better fit?

Melissa: Saved this from a previous post at this NG. I have never used it but the gal that posted it said that it helped her tremendously. Hopefully it will do the same for you.

's patterns come with separate fronts with for B, C and D. If you compare the B and C, you'll see the differences.Kay
