Hi all.
I've been away from the group for several reasons. First it's been a terrib
le winter for me for health reasons. My asthma has played havoc with me and
as a result I've done a minimum of sewing since January. Taking high doses
of prednisone gives me very shaky hands and I find it difficult to work.
I know I posted some in January and February but came March my computer die
d. Just gave up the ghost one day. That brings reason 2.
I didn't get a new computer until late March. For some reason I've been un
able to download Thunderbird and wasn't quite sure how to get back to alt.s
ewing. Yesterday my son put in outlook express but still no usenet. Just ca
n't figure it out yet. I'm using google groups rightnow. I know some of you
 block google.

I will get myself on through some news group as soon as I can and become re
gular reader and poster again.

So good to see this post.  I haven't seen any of your posts for a long, long
time.

Barbara in SC, but in FL during the fall & winter

Juno, it's good to know you are on the mend.  If you want
instructions on how to set up the eternal-september news using
Outlook Express, e-mail me, I can provide the steps.

Beverly, finally after almost four weeks, getting my own health back
to what passes these days for normal. Ugh

Oh dear, Beverly, I've been wondering where you had disappeared to. I had no
idea it was so bad, that cough thing. A pretty dear price to pay for a few
days of Merry Old England, I'd say.

Hope your health improves,

U.

Thanks. Ursula, I am much much better!.  The
cough/bronchitis/pneumonia finally yielded to antibiotics, although
I am loath to use them. However, I was not getting better, so older
DD insisted I go to the doctor.

I even mowed the lawns a couple of days ago!  ;-)

Re: Kind of OT

Hello Juno,

was that you, the Juno Cassidy Beyer who wanted to be friends with me on
Facebook? I thought it was you... And are we still friends, or did I reject
your request? I don't find you among my friends, so either you/that person
unfriended me or I didn't say 'Friends'. Anyway, I bet Beverly will help you
sort out your problems and you'll be back on the usenet in no time. ;-)
