I have been able to reconstruct most of the recipes I need but have lost this one. I looked on the label of my container of Hershey's cocoa and the brownie recipe is not on there (it does have the perfectly chocolate chocolate cake, the frosting, the hot fudge chocolate cake, and the not cocoa recipes), but I found the brownie recipe by searching in yahoo for "Hershey's Best Brownies". Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup margarine 2 cups sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 4 large Eggs 3/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped walnuts -- optional
Heat oven to 350F. Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. In large microwave-safe bowl, place butter. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until melted. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with a spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Frost with Creamy Brownie Frosting. Cut into bars.
YIELD: about 18 brownies
