AD: New beads, new glass, a new category, and shed pics!

I have big changes this week... I have, by overwhelming popular request, added a pairs category! And there are pairs in it... not socks, as you might be expecting, but beads:

Several new sets, including a lot of boro:

I went to the Bullseye factory this weekend and picked up some really cool colors, so I put some up for sale:

And last, but soooooo far from least, I am joining Su and Mike in Sheddom, and here is teh beginning of the Shed Chronicle:

"Finespun Lilac" is gorgeous - it would look sophisticated made with GF findings. And you really cracked me up with "teh" SHED beginning on your website. :)

Kalera can have something else, a berth, box, caboose, carrel, chalet, compartment, coop, corner, cot, cote, cottage, counter, crib, cubbyhole, cubicle, deckhouse, dispensary, home, hovel, hut, hutch, lodge, log house, nook, pen, pew, quarters, room, shack, shanty, stall, stand.....

Isn't an online thesaurus fun?

Just to clarify this, I don't have a problem with Kalera having a shed either, I just think she's going to lose a LOT of valuable torch time to gibbering if she's not careful in naming her workshop.

By the way, as a side note, Mike looked at the pics and said 'OOOOHHH, how posh!' He has serious shed envy.

Nope. I'm taking chalet. I can pretend I'm not in Texas sometimes.

I'm seeing it as being quaint and cozy, and I usually can't see beyond what things look like now...I just don't have that vision. This is different though...I can see the future.

Very cool, Kalera. Congrats and good luck! I can't wait to watch your progress.

The pairs are a GREAT idea!! I can totally see those turning into amazing earrings. They also are remotely possibly affordable for me :)

Maybe after the bird show I'll be back....

I love the idea of pairs!! These are just so pretty, Kalera. And your shed looks awfully familiar...LOL. I have one just like it in my backyard...but it's filled with lawn care equipment and patio furniture. You gonna put windows in yours?

Funny they didn't include "out building (or out house) which is the term used for all the tool sheds, green houses, storage sheds, etc that are separate from the main building on a property. "An out house", as in an outdoor lavatory, is just one out building/house that a property can have.

Kalera already has a potty in her shed.

I meant, I thought it was odd that the on-line thesaurus didn't include "out house" or "out building" as an alternative to "shed". "Out house" means any unattached building (shed, green house, tool shed, garage, etc) surrounding the mainhouse.

Can you imagine shipping on that? :)

I think it's going to be darling. I'm going to put a little front porch on it too, with flowerpots, eeee!

My husband thinks I'm nuts and wants me to fix up the basement... but a basement is a basement, and a shed is cute.

Thank you! They weren't even my idea... I think they were Sooz's or Jalynne's, and I went with it. I'm so happy they're being well-received, I'm planning to do lots more.

I think the shed (not to be confused with the SHED ) came from Home Depot in 1982. I find it somewhat amazing that it's still standing, to tell the truth!

I am going to put a glass door on the front, and a small window on the side, for fresh air. There will be a crystal chandelier or similar for illumination... just for fun.

Nah, it was an obvious direction to take...but thanks...lol. I'm working on using some odd shiny glass beads to adorn the hanging candlabra in my bedroom.
