*chuckle* Actually, they are kind of lame, but they are the first two I've made on my own. Yay! With nine people in the class, we really have to hustle, so it's all about learning technique and NOTHING about design at this point. LOL!

For some reason I'm just not worried about you picking up the design issues on your own. :-) Diana

Me either. It's all about learning the technical and then I bet she rocks from there.

I've decided to finally stop screwing around and get down to the business of learning to use my crucible kiln and glory hole. Here I am, jonesing like crazy in anticipation of my next class, when I have what I need to blow glass, make paperweights, do all kinds of cool stuff.

Donna will be thrilled. The toys are at her studio, and she's been dying to play!

Starlia, I hope you guys are right...

Paperweights are sooo much fun.

I checked with the place where I did mine

--- no paperweight class this fall... the beginner class was full - but they had an intermediate slot but - I don't really have the skills for an intermediate glassblowing class. Maybe I'll get a winter term slot (crossing fingers and toes)..... Cheryl DRAGON BEADS Flameworked beads and glass
