Yes and YES!!!
It's on my consideration list - it will depend on how much airfare is.
I'll be there on Friday Beadfest is fabulous!! Bring lots of $$, many of the most famous lampworkers will be there with spectacular beads. Plus gemstone strands, glass supplies, findings, books, etc. Shop around though since there is a lot of competitive pricing, especially in gemstone strands. It's a big show and great fun. I took a class last year from Marla Gassner, this year I'm not interested in anything they are teaching, unfortunately. There are some reasonable hotels in the area, check them out on Travelocity or book at the hotels which are very close to the convention center. If you are flying in, the facility is quite a distance from the Philadelphia airport, you will need to rent a car or share rides, I don't believe there is any public transportation, or at least there wasn't last year.
