BFNR!!!!!

Oh my god! I got home from dropping Moxley off at the band's practise pad (they have a show in Seattle) and when I got home there was this little box awaiting me, and the return address reads "Barbara Forbes-Lyons"... and within, some evening primrose oil capsules, which she'd told me she was sending... and a crunchy Snickers (I LOVE Snickers! I am eyeballing that thing as we speak, just waiting for my hands to be freed up from typing) and these fabulous little orange, pink, yellow, and white candy-covered fennel seeds (to promote lactation) which I have never seen before. Candy-covered! That's so cool! They're quite delicious, like those licorice bits in a candy shell. And just when I was thinking "gee, orange, my favorite color... too bad they're not beads", I see the OTHER packet, which contains these incredible, scrumptious, lickable ORANGE beads! They're faceted, and a kind of swirly, creamy, part-transparent-and-part-opaque Creamsicle effect, so they're sparkly and candy like all at once! I LOVE these!

I am so touched. Soooo incredibly touched. It made my day... and I actually started to cry when I was opening it. What got me was not the

*stuff* (Though the stuff is COOL!) but the thoughtfulness behind it, especially from another overtired, overstressed new mother.

THANK YOU, Barbara, for taking the time out to touch me so generously with your kindness!

Whoohoo! Glad to hear everything arrived in one piece and that you liked it all. I had a hard time giving up that candy bar, LOL!

Enjoy it all - and aren't those orange beads da bomb? I normally don't go for those colors, but that givre style really spoke to me.

Hugs, beady friend.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I love those candy covered fennel seeds! The only time I've ever had them was at an Indian restaurant in the village in NYC.

I don't think I've had them since I was a kid. And still I remember them.
