Catch up on me

Well, the wonderful x-mas season is over and the kids are back in school (now that the snow's almost gone) YAY!!!!!!!!!!! (Can you tell I'm excited?) Actually got some sleep today (actually figured out that my body was tired, not my brain. Half awake the entire time but couldn't move. Go figure) Feel so much better. Actually picked up needle and thread and did a few rows!! (Haven't touched any beads in about a month) Been kinda leary to do it since my X-mas present to myself was to break my glasses in half (honest, I was just cleaning them!) Fortunately was able to semi-fix them with some wire (looks goofy but it works) Waiting for the authorization to get them fixed even though ok'd to get new one next month. Maybe/hopefully just be able to get new ones early. If not, have to wait til feb. Didn't realize how wrung out I was until I was able to actually order something (thanks you-know-who!) and could only find 3 colors out of 900 that I even wanted (and they were all blacks and greys) (WARNING!) So, I ordered some crimp pliers (woo-hoo!) and am now anxiously waiting them(!) because I figured 1. I deserved them & 2. I'd never get them otherwise. Both sizes even. That ought to make stringing MUCH easier, right?

There's so much more but that's the major stuff. Just wanted to share. So glad I'm feeling better.

Later,

Helen C

Lucky you, school doesn't start here until Jan 27. I love having DS at home, but he is over mum and dad big time! Needs mates of his own age. That's a bugger about the glasses! I hope you can still see with them wired together like that.
