My 20-something niece recently was biking around a lake and rode into a swarm fo dragonflies. It kind of freaked her out and she has lost any affection she had toward them. Well, being a bad aunt, I couldn't help making a dragonfly bead, and then I made a few more. I may have to take it to her when I visit next month!

MAKE THEM AND SELL THEM -- that is what you meant to say. That, in order to dispell the negative energy that your neice has around this experience, you made her one to protect her and OTHERS for sale. (for sale for sale for sale .... see there is no way to be subliminal here so I'm forced to be transparent).

I think I'm addicted. I keep wanting to make more dragonflies!
Ahhhh. You're such a good bad aunt!
I love dragon flies. Actually, it's even my animal guide or totem spirit.
And they eat mosquitoes. At the beginning of summer, they hatch out and we have lots of them landing on our porch and sunning themselves as they strengthen and lengthen their wings. I like how primitive they are, and how very long they have lasted in their form. They are also one of the fastest and most sophisticated fliers of all the insects.
