Earrings using chain for ear wire

And they are every bit as comfy as they look. Wide toe boxes are the ONLY way to go!

I realize they're pointy-toed, but that's because they're cowboy boots. In other words, this is okay. I want these:

Oh damn, now I feel bad for not having a more healthy attitude about my feet! The more I learn about having healthy attitudes, the worse I feel about mine! ROFL..(just kidding, I know that it's all bout perspective)

Wide ball, high instep, narrow heel... 6 1/2 womens.... 36 in European clogs,

36-37 in Chinese "Mary Janes", 24 in Japanese shoes (men's size...), 4 1/2-5 in boys' shoes....

What fits? Flip-flops when its warm, clogs when it's not. Kaytee "Simplexities" on

I go back and forth between New Balance tennis shoes (carefully purchased, on the SL-2 last, size 7EE) and birkenstocks. I also find some wide shoes on

occasionally for those times when I need "big girl" shoes.

Oh, and I have one pair of boys boots (lace ups) that work for being at the stables. Hmph.

(but...I'm having a pair of palomino colored cowboy boots with rounded toe and low heel made for my by a couple of Mexican men who run the local shoe repair! Their boots is all dh will wear for work and everything *except* playing tennis!)

they are quite awesome! However, they only come in medium widths! Waaahhh...

(I will just wait patiently for the day when they make troll shoes in red patent leather with a f*ck-me-baby spike heel!)

Read the reviews (scroll down on individual shoe pages)....supposedly some of them run wide to begin with. ~~ Sooz

Yeah -- and if your hair and shoes are fabulous, it hardly matters what you wear. It's funny how much those things matter. ~~ Sooz

Do those New Balance shoes have a narrow heel? Do you order them at a store or from the internet?

Be sure when you get the boots custom ordered that you tell them they need to add an extra couple inches at the instep.

Nope. I'm just waiting for the day I win the lottery. (It'll be a loooong tme, since I don't buy tickets, but that's beside the point)

Then I'll have five hundred pairs of shoes, all custom made, and all made specifically to go with _one_ outfit. Totally impractical would be nice, too. (Purple satin FMAT pumps that cannot get wet. Ummm)

Oh yes, Size 6.5 EE, with narrow heels and high arches. Children's Birkenstocks fit me better than anything else, but you cannot wear Birks to every occasion.

I had the store order them for me. They had another style in the Splendid Hibiscus. I loved the color but I only liked the style. I want to love my shoes. So off to the 'Net I went.

Fortunately the shoe store's supplier had them and it only cost me $5 for a special order. The cool thing was that the store runs coupons so they credited me with a $6 coupon. I saved a dollar! And THAT can make me very happy. I don't need much - just finding a penny can brighten my day. :-)

Margie in the olive/teal combo isn't bad. Ooh - I just found them in exotic blue/blue. Kinda funky - wouldn't buy them for myself but I'd wear them if they were a present.

There are two different "lasts". If you go to the website you can see which "last" has which feature. I use the SL-2 last because it has a wide toe box and high arch.

You betcha...they're friends of ours, and they measured me every which way...it was kinda glamourous! LOL
