A lampworker told her customers (including me) that if she gets enough feedback, she'd be elegible for eBay health insurance. Anyone know anything about this?

Nope - never heard of it. We get good health insurance through hubby's work, though, so I haven't looked into it at all.
Their powerseller health care program is administered through a third party and involves individual powersellers applying for individual and dependent coverage with insurance companies who've agreed to participate in the program (coverage and companies depend on the state you live in). eBay doesn't have anything to do with managing the program or collecting premiums - they've just used their considerable influence to get the program going. It's up to the qualified powersellers to apply.
