]I feel like you're scolding me for ]something I have no idea about.

no scolding involved at all. forget about it. my AADD must be worse than even i thought today.

]Kandice, Vicki is essentially saying THANK YOU to you for pointing out ]this guy to everyone so that we don't buy from him. She's saying that ]because you were on top of things enough to notice that he copied text ]from your website and stuff that we have all gotten a heads-up that we ]wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

yes, that pretty much covers it. if *i* had looked at it, or anyone else, i don't think any of us would have caught what Kandice did.

]LOL - well if that's the case, I am really sorry!! There are no hard ]feelings on my part at all - just a general feeling of puzzlement. For some ]reason, I could not wrap my mind around what she was saying. I guess I just ]needed someone to connect the dots for me. Thanks you. :) And Vicki - my ]humble apologies!!!

no problem. my AADD has been so bad lately it's been screwing up a lot of my attempts at communication.

i'm probably just better off shutting up.

Or about blatant lie descriptions!

I'm game!! Ooh, I want to copy Lori Greenberg! Hmm, I think she's on vacation, though.

Nah, my head's all fuzzy lately. :) My fault!

So far, no. Maybe it would help if more people reported his auctions for copyright violation? Can I impose on some of you to do that? Here's the report link:

And the item numbers that still have my text in the descriptions: 4923314457

4923763399 4923398534 4923403441 4922590946 4923099545 4922592952 4923983375 4924078524

That last auction is the cubes with the lime scrolls that look like what I did a year ago. I am not sure if this is coincidence or not, because of the copying of my website text, but that's not a big deal to me. To his credit, he did remove the text from his auctions with no bids.

((((((((((Kandice)))))))

I know I am late replying to this, but I just wanted to tell you that I am sorry this person has taken advantage of you this way.

I too acknowledge that there is serious theft happening on the Internet, but that doesn't make it okay, nor does it mean anyone needs to accept it.

I haven't read far enough ahead to see if eBay has responded favorably to you, but I certainly hope they punish this character enough so that he never even thinks of stealing AND misrepresenting again. (one of my biggest peeves in the beading industry is people sealing stuff that is misrepresented)

Also, I think it a good idea to let as many beaders know as possibly about this. People cannot learn unless they are made aware. And that applies to both ends of the stick. The seller needs to learn that what he is doing is wrong, and the buyers need to learn how to tell fake from real.

This is going to be good for customers, too! I can't wait to see it all up on eBay -- and bid! :-D

I think it would have the most impact if everyone did the same beads... those lime and black cubes. BUT, since you're the originator, maybe you should do a different set? You can definitely do one of mine... that would make the whole thing SO much funnier! People would look at my auction and immediately go look at your auction, and then go "HUH?" and if they had ever seen HIS auctions, I think they would know immediately what was up.

You did?? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Oh, I can't wait to see the response. I'm having to go through VERO to get the current auctions removed, but that's okay - I don't mind the hassle. :)

Seems like my ADD is cranked up as well. I'm almost in complete shut-down mode.

I just sent in my report. Hope that helps the process move along faster.

okay - but am i missing something here? the buyers on e-bay [if you're aiming at the general buying population] are only going to realize what you're doing if you somehow link all the auctions together AND link to his.
