Good News!

Ken went and got wood, tarp, stone, and boards, and made me a shelter out back for storage, and for me to do whatever I want (i.e. lampwork!). Got a few days of cleaning sorting (some items got waterlogged/soaked, and will have to be thrown out, including some tools, wah!)

My table that I used, the veneer is peeling off, but I think the wood portion itself is okay. If I can get it leveled out, then I will be setting up my lampwork section. Gotta get lights out there (I only had one small flourescent light, and will have to add a couple more, probably, for adequate light).

Then I can work again on my lampwork. Hey, gotta keep up my title of "spacer queen". Hopefully, I can get together the money again to get a tank and tubes and fittings, instead of mapp gas! LOL! But I theoretically have everything...I have still around 20 long rods of glass, and still about 1/2 of the 25 lbs of ends of glass that Mavis sent me. So I am hoping within a week, I will be making spacers again.

Then, to beg people to batch anneal them for me! LOL!

That's great, Mary! More workspace is always a good thing. Just like more bookshelves! Sarajane

If those are good tools, it's better to get them back into working order than to replace them -- especially if you'd have to get something of lesser quality..
