Well, I hope such an environment is in your future somewhere, and in the meanwhile, wirework and beading are fairly low-volume. Hammering wire is the noisiest thing likely to happen, and you can time that so as to minimize the impact on your neighbors.

So far reactive metals seems to have the best prices, though I didn't realize right away that some of their thicker gauges don't come anodized... you have to do it yourself! That means I can get my 18 gauge from them but not in the dark blue or purple I wanted. They also have a minimum order which the others don't have ( to my knowledge), so I have to figure out if I want $25 worth of stuff from them.
