I've been making kids seedbead jewelry with nymo and find that the white frays worse than the black. Is this normal? tia Sharon in SW Ontario Canada

This has been my experience. I went to Fireline about 2 years ago. It never frays, and is really strong :)

Nymo tends to fray a lot when I weave with it - no matter what the color. I have not noticed a different between the nymo colors when it comes to fraying. I have long since switched to Silamide, which is more durable and does not fray at all, in my experience. Hope this helps!
In my limited experience with Silamide, the only time it frays is when I can't thread my needle! grrr Silamide beats nymo, hands down.
