Poor Spike... That is too cute Jerri...I can't believe Spike lets you dress him for the holidays and stuff...He must be very well behaved and mild mannered.

Lol! I won't tell him you said that. He can't help it if I don't have a son, so he never gets to wear boy clothes!
I think I was trying to look pretty for Valentine's.

He'd let me do anything too him, but I was surprised he'd let my DD dress him up. I think he considers her a sibling and he'll turn his nose up at her sometimes. He's a pretty good natured boy and will put up with some abuse for some extra cuddling.

You just KNOW that Spike practices that suffering dog look in the mirror every time he's home alone. It's a good thing he doesn't live here - he's so good at looking pitiful that I'd be giving him all kinds of treats to cheer him up.
And then his dress wouldn't fit. Poor Spike.

Ob Dog Reference: DD is agitating for a second dog. (It's not going to work) She has two "good reasons" for wanting us to get a puppy:
- So she can name it "Sporkie"
- Because Sophie is old and we cannot be without a dog.
She's not getting a whole lot of arguments from me, because I'd love a second dog. But I'm not the one she has to convince.
Sophie probably wouldn't like having another dog around, either. She's not really fond of any other animals.
