OT: Hi

Finished my 3rd full week of work. It is going so much better. I was even able to turn a visit around for someone who was here in Wisconsin checking out Lawrence University all the way from Seattle. She had a bad experience in the class she visited. I sent her to a new class; they were on a Field Trip!! Finally I got one of the biology profs to meet with her and that turned things around for her. I felt good and she and her mother were so grateful. I kept thinking that if this were my daughter and I brought her all this way, I would want it to be better, so I made it happen. Yay me. I also got my first paycheck.

Life is much better. Thanks for your support. KathyH

Hon, I get the same way. "THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH!"

It's only been in the last couple of years that I have had the wherwithal to remember to look at a calendar to see if my period is about due. Used to be I spent the two or three days before my period crying and sure nothing would ever be OK again.

That's great!

That impression while visiting the school makes SUCH a big difference to people. It can effect how the kids think about going to college, as well as how they think about going to your college.

It sounds like you'll really enjoy this job.

How did you find your way around the place so quickly?
