OT: I'm in trouble.

When I start dressing the foster dog, Caesar, I think I'm in trouble. Or, as a friend of mine told me, "You bought him clothes. You have to keep him now."

I couldn't help it. The shirts were $2.99. I had to buy a couple!

I love this one:

He was yawning. I guess being a supermodel is a dull life.

Spike even gets along with the little brat:

He is adorable! And that's saying a lot b/c I'm usually afraid of chihuahuas! (It's a deep seated problem related to a snapping incident in my formative years).

OMG!!! He's adorable! He's doing the GQ model pose in picture #2! And the last one of him where it looks like he's laughing almost made me wet myself I laughed so hard! That Spike is the most precious dog in the world! He's such a good care giver!

I vote you keep him... he won't eat much!! lol All the money on food you save, you can then spend on cute little outfits. :)

Or you can send him to me, too.

Jerri, He is SO cute and so good to sit patiently with his shirts on. Did he try to take them off (stripper dog?) or just leave them on after the pictures. I'd say he's definitely a keeper!!

Jerri, Do tell, is there any chance of your keeping this foster dog?

I never liked them either, and my hubby REALLY never liked them! I think we may be keeping this one though. I think hubby likes him because he's kind of like a cat, getting on the back of the sofa and under the covers!

Thanks Dawn,

I think it must be a sickness when you wear pretty much jeans and t-shirts, but you buy clothes for the pets. Lol.

I think this one's going to stay. He can be a PITA, typical chihuahua, but my hubby and DD want to keep him. (Never thought I'd see that!)

Hi Patti,

He loves the shirts and doesn't try to take them off. He doesn't have an undercoat, and has very little hair on his chest and belly, so I think he gets chilled easily and likes the shirts when he's in the house with the a/c on. I'm going to have to get him some winter sweaters!

I'm pretty sure he's staying at this point. I could have kept any of the fosters, but hubby and DD really want this one. None of us know why, he's just a lot of fun for such a brat!

Jerri, I'm so glad you are keeping him. He looks SO cute. He's getting a great home. Will you keep fostering, or have you run out of room?

Nope, I'll keep fostering. Caesar is only 1/2 a dog, and so easy to take care of. He really isn't much work. The only problem may be that the thinks he's the boss.

It's not official yet, but I think it's pretty definite. We pick up DD from camp today, and we haven't told her, although she's wanted to keep him, and since my hubby really likes this one, I think she knew there was a chance.

The last several fosters we've had haven't been fond of men, but I guess since this guy belonged to an old man, he really likes hubby , too.

Oh, I hope you do get to keep him. Chi's are fun to own, even tho they can be barkers... I call them "yappers", my husband calls them "rat dogs". lol

My parents bought my brother one, named Peppy, and when Kurt left to join the Marines and then died, Peppy became their surrogate son. While they didn't dress him up, they would set a place for him at the kitchen table, put him up on the child seat and he would eat his dinner very neatly off of his plate, with them eating their food on the opposite side of the table. Funnier than hell to watch them. Good times... thanks for the Yapper Memories and good luck with Caesar.

I love the picture of Caesar yawning. It looks like such a wicked laugh. And such a macho brute in his camo muscle shirt.
