OT: light fixtures... just have to share!

A while ago my friend Chris bought us some antique light fixtures online... well, he restored and rewired them, and yesterday, he came over and hung them! I am absolutely in LOVE with them, and I just so happened to have four matching handblown art-glass shades for the living room. The living and dining rooms aren't wired for ceiling fixtures, so the temporary solution is a power cord that runs to a wall outlet, for a special ghetto-chic look.

He's restoring some of my collection of antiwue fixtures for other rooms in the house too. Wooo! I'm so excited!

I know... convenient, isn't it?

I just need to find a fixture on which to put my darling, my lovely, my one and only Lundberg tulip shade. It is... ... I get it out sometimes just to touch the delicate curves. I had a chance to buy a white one for an unreal price, and I passed it up, foolish, foolish little girl that I was!

Oh, speak>>I just so

Hee hee! I am borderline obsessed (OK, full-on obsessed) with old lighting, so this is sheer heaven for me! You want to know the best part? Our little secret?

$70 on eBay. FOR BOTH!
