OT: Update on Calif travel

I'm coming to California!! I got my flights booked yesterday- still working on the hotel.

I'll be arriving Nov 10 and leaving Nov 18. So time for the BABE show and lots of sightseeing I hop!

So- who do I get to meet???

Also- those familiar with the area - Should I get a rental car for the whole week or just for the days I'll be sightseeing?

Whee Kathy K - Travelin fool!!

:) I want to meet everyone, too! First I have to come up with the money to travel. And believe me, I am saving my cash. :) I am almost positive that I can swing it, if I drive down there. I think it's only about 12-13 hours. It would be sooooooo much fun!!!

It is a pity that I cannot be there to drive down with you. Well I would not want to drive on the" wrong" side of the road. Too much engrained in me with driving on the "right" side for 40 years. In which case is the left side. LOL. I could sing to you though. Love Shirley

that's about right, Kandice. that's how long it took me from Paradise to Seattle. maybe an hour or so more for the Bay Area. but keep in mind, i only stop for gas and to grab something i can eat and keep going. [and time it to avoid the BIG cities on I-5 from 3-5pm]

]From Tacoma to Chico is 12 hours, to Sacramento is 13.5, to the SF Bay Area is about ]15 hours, to Fresno is 19 hours, shall I continue? LOL We're headed that direction ]in two weeks YIPPEEEEEE! Hey, is there a good bead shop in Fresno?

You're coming to CHICO???????????? tell me when/where and i'll drive down and meet you!

most people don't "do" Chico, because it isn't on the I-5 corridor!
