Oh no...poor Tink. Will keep her on the top of the prayer list this week. Thanks for letting us know, Nicole!
AW poor Tink! I was wondering what was going on with her... I saw a post on WC where she said she hadn't been feeling well, but no details.
Get well soon, Tink!

I was wondering too - there is a notice on her site that there aren't any new beadies due to health issues.
Thanks for the update.
Sending healing vibes and hugs. Shirley

ACKK she probably got that virus I had -- it's really hitting hard in Ohio...
poor Tink I know what she means - I nearly passed out one night coughing... I saw stars and lost my vision at one point ...!!!!
(I;m finally almost over it -- though my lungs are still irritated...) It lasts for WEEKS -- and Tink sure can't afford it
I suspect this is really this season's FLU - starting very early...... too late for the flu shot!

I'm praying that Tink stops smoking now. Anyone want to join me? ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

DEFINATELY!! With COPD smoking is the last thing she needs to do (of course as a non smoker its easy to say). My Mum has this and I swear if she hadnt quit smoking she'd be dead by now. :-)
Definitely praying.

I have COPD as well, and the fact that our lovely Tink smokes worries the bejeebus out of me. If I'm even exposed to smoke, I end up hospitalized, even when I don't have a lung infection.
I won't pester anyone to quit smoking, but I will pray that the Tinkster is able to quit for her health. We really, really don't want to lose her.

I've been praying that for a LONG time. She is literally killing herself, and needs to stop.

WHAT??? TINK you BAD BAD GIRL !!!
I'm with you Kathy - I was extremely happy that my 30th Class Reunion this past weekend was held at a "no smoking" restaurant... as even going to a public place with smoking can make me cough and hack for days.
that darn flu I had last month is still playing havoc with my lungs (I'm still coughing - but it's the clear sticky asthmas stuff) So I know it can't be easy on Tink either (I think she has the same crud I had... it's really going around Ohio....)
I can't imagine smoking...... with any lung disability.... sheesh! QUIT NOW TINK!!!!! Cheryl DRAGON BEADS Flameworked beads and glass
Me too, Kalera. Every puff is time chipped off of her life. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce
I'm torn. Between the idea that I don't want to pester anyone, and the concept of pestering them enough (because I love them) that they feel hounded enough to quit.
Where does our responsibility really lie? In not being obnoxious? Or in trying our best to stop them from hurting --killing!-- themselves? ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce
I think it lies in giving them love and support and gently expressing our sorrow in their self-destructive habit... not badgering, which only creates a wall, but just putting it out there.
And then giving rip-roaring support when they DO quit.
