Re: OT What movie did you see?

I just watched the Neil Simon remake of Goodbye Girl. It was good except.............the ending.

Did his plane crash? Did he dump her? Did he come back? Did she get impatient and take up with another "actor"?

Geez lol

That looks like a great movie! I really like Britney Murphy, too. I think the first thing I saw her in was "Clueless". That was her, wasn't it? As the kind of dorky friend?

The little girl, Dakota Fanning, is amazing. I first saw her in the "Taken" miniseries. She's awesome!

T>Actually, the last movie I saw was Uptown Girls (dvd), and I loved it. I

Yep - that's her in Clueless. :) I saw Taken, too and forgot Dakota was in that! She's fab! The interviews with Dakota on the DVD of Uptown Girls were great. She's so grown up!

Kind of a Groundhog experience of your own, huh? heh heh

I can't remember the last Tom Cruise movie that I really enjoyed. Maybe Days of Thunder? All of his later work he seems a little too full of himself. JMHO.

The last movie I saw was Something's Got to Give, with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. (Jack and Diane - like the song!) I enjoyed it thoroughly, but took my daughters with me. They swear I will never get to pick the movie again. Oh well. Cheri (Bubbee to Emily and Nathan)

LOL... When you think about it... could be my own day! I love Jack Nicholson! He is by far my favorite actor. His best to date for me: As Good as it Gets. Great flick!

I might have to rent that one. I meant to see it when it was out, but never got around to it. Last one I saw was Haunted House. Don't waste your money. Barbara Dream Master

I can't bring myself to see the new release of that movie. I loved the book and thought that the original movie (with Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy?) was pretty good, too. Somehow the "updating" of the story just doesn't do it for me.

And no, twelve kids would probably be a bit too much for me, too. Maybe. If they all arrived on my doorstep without the horrible pregnancy part, I'd be okay. Have to get a bigger car, though.

I read the book way back when so I'm afraid to see the movie, I hate to be disappointed.

My dd and I went to see "Teacher's Pet" yesterday. It wasn't bad, lots of comedy that went over dd's head. She said she'd like to see again, think I'll pass.
