Semi-OT: Help!!!

Feb 03, 2004 7 Replies

I am in the process of re-doing my website. I got stuck on the fonts, and ended up with a *lot* of help from one person here (THANKS!), and learning new things (so of course, I have 1/2 done in regular HTML, and 1/2 on the style sheet...).

I am stuck on a problem, and was wondering if anyone could help me. After about 6 hours of working on this page (I should have been in bed around 5am, and it is now 9:30), I wanna go to sleep.

here is the page:

on the right hand side, the information in that table is centered top to bottom. I know it should be a "simple" fix, I just can't think of it. I would like it to be aligned at the top.

I really appreciate any help anyone can give...if I can get theis out of the way, I can work on the next step...getting inventory on it!

Thanks! Mary

Mary,

What program do you use for you web editing?

I am using coffee cup software but also handcoding. I just use it almost the same as I would use notepad...mainly to color the tags...I don't use the software for the actual programming...

In your HTML source where appears, change it to and that should fix the problem.

I hope it works. I mainly use FrontPage so I pasted your source code in and mucked around until I hit the correct section of the table that needed fixed and then looked at the HTML to find what changed.

I'll have an answer for you - as soon as I can find the coding for that. Stay tuned - film at 11.

Your cat sure looks s lot like Nicole's.

Right after this: [!-- Main Page Content goes here --]

Change the [td] to: [td valign="top"]

(Replace all square brackets in the above with angle brackets)

Thank you, EVERYONE, who sent the information, especially JoAnn, who sent the whole sheet back to me!!! :-)

Mary
