I am looking at buying an embroidery machine and I have been looking at the Janome 10001 and Brother 3100D. I wonder if anyone out there could let me know their opinions on the usability of either machine. If someone has had both that would be great, I just really cant decide which one would be the best for me.

Yahoo has groups for many types of machines, you might try there
Go to your dealer and have them run side-by-side. My dealer turns the Brother off when the phone rings. Janome was quieter running.
