Ok, I resurrected a UFO. It is Indigo Rose's Mother to Daughter Sampler. I had put it aside when I got to area #14. It had queen stitches in a twisted knot pattern. I remember why put it down :-P . Well that section is now done!!!!!
I have also progressed to the last side of the nutmeg designs Church and I have a pot of tea brewing to celebrate.

That reminds me of being in a car with another naval wife when she suddenly said "It's our wedding anniversary today" How many say I and she responded with however many it was. Short delay then young son in back seat pipes up (he became an accountant what else) and says "Mum you were only 6 when you and Dad were married" - she gave up lying after that lol

That design is beautiful Joan! I love the poem! I'm sure your parents appreciated it! Congratulations on doing that many Smyrna using metallic gold! Our Guild did a project with borders using over 1600 Smyrna crosses but at least they were done with #12 perle cotton!
