This is our first long weekend of the summer, here in Canada; Victoria Day. I came down to the cottage today, Friday. After I got all settled in, I took out my needlework I had brought down with me, and sure enough, I had the pattern, floss, needles and scissors, but I have left behind the canvas at home. I am not going to drive 70 miles home and 70 miles back just to get it. Maybe if the weather turns out to be as yukky as the forecast, I will go home early. Oh well. At least I remembered the satellite TV.
