Aarrgghhh!

Sorry ladies and Gents! Just had to get that off my chest :o/

I have just realised that the wedding sampler I am doing for my son (wedding on 1st August) has been done in the wrong shade of blue and it's almost halfway through!!!

The chart is quite an old one which I have used as a base and adapted it to my requirements. However, there are two symbols very similar - one is an upside down triangle and the other a heart shape. Both for shades of blue, but one medium and one very dark.

Consequently I have used the dark where it should have been lighter and so on :-(

Yes it will make a difference. Yes it does matter and I could kick myself!!

So . . . shall I frog it all out or start again afresh? Or even trash it and do something else instead? lol!!

I'm inclined to do the latter, but with so little time left to finish I'm not sure what to do!

In the meantime I must get myself some new spectacles. I might be able to see the charts clearly then lol!

TRASH IT!!! If you don't, you'll remember some, if not all, the difficulties you had doing it every time you look at it

I remember Trish Brown telling us about what happened when she abandoned "Sunday Best". She said it gave her the utmost satisfaction taking a pair of scissors and cutting it up into little pieces.

Ooh! Jim! I don't think I could do that to it . . . not yet anyway lol!

I've still not decided what to do with it, but the prospect of starting something new is daunting, but will probably be the outcome.

That way I've got the option to go back to it at a later date - If I can bear too :o/

If I spend any longer trying to decide what to do, I'm going to have to abandon the idea of having it ready in time for the wedding, but since I'm having a major op the following week, I can get it finished whilst recouperating so maybe a few weeks late, but at least I have time to devote to it then

If I decide to take my scissors to it, you'll all be the first to know lol!
