Back from Cairns and to stitch

May 01, 2007 3 Replies

Hi folks,

am back on line now, back to stitching, and off to the Craftshow on Sunday.

We have moved back from Cairns to - well not quite - Brisbane. We made our last stop over in a small city called Hervey Bay, about 300 k's before Brissie. And this was now a little over 3 weeks ago. We are still here, we fell in love with this happy little place right at the beaches.

I'm not really back on track yet, still too many cartons to unpack, but I have started stitching again, and my online class for Hardanger will be ready soon.

Look forward to be active with you again.

Welcome back, and well - don't get overwhelmed with the unpacking. I'm sharing that misery - today is clear stuff from garage to house so storage unit can go into garage and house as well....

Same to you.

Thanks Ellice,

well, actually I have never been so relaxed in all my life with packing. And we have moved a lot. We have a huge double garage + storage, I got rid of about 16 cartons of stuff, so it's just a carton every two days or so.

Much more important for us to feel at home again and pick up the needle besides working.

Great attitude. We kind of did that, but had an overwhelmingly stuffed garage, and a rented storage unit. At least, we've unpacked the first real load of kitchen stuff, and have been finding "treasure" so to speak as we did about another 10 boxes fromt he garage last night. I think the state of the house has driven our friends crazier than me at times. Glad you're in such good shape!

Exactly - Ellice
