Chicago Stitching Group!!

As a result of Audrey's inquiry about local stitching groups, and our decision that nothing existed that was quite what we wanted, Audrey and I have decided to start a group here in the western suburbs.

Our first "meeting" will be on Saturday, June 4 at my home. If there are any Chicago area stitchers interested in joining us, please email me at sew unicorn at comcast dot net (remove spaces and make obvious changes) so I can provide details!

I must respectfully disagree with your conclusion that no stitching groups exist in the Chicago area. There may not be any that meet your needs. I know of four EGA guilds, an ANG guild, and a sampler guild that meet regularly.

I hope your group is succesful.

I must respectfully disagree with your conclusion that Jenn said there were NO stitching groups in Chicago. She only said that she had not found one to her liking.

Thanks for your good wishes. We just wanted to get together on a periodic basis, no beauracracy, no dues, no fundraising, no expectations beyond having fun together.
