Ok - what is going on here!
I printed out the list of DMC variegated colors from the DMC website, check off the ones I have, go to the store to fill out the collection and there are more colors/numbers than on the "official" list.
Are these "old" numbers that aren't make any more?

If memory serves me, many of the variegated colors were discontinued some months (a year or more?) ago. At the time of the announcement, I went to my local "everything" store and bought a large quantity of their stock. I love the variegated for some things, such as shading in needlelace.

Well, I have an email into the folks at DMC-USA - I bought one of everything today. Gee maybe I have to re-check my list and go again ;)

I love the variegated ones for making bookmarks completely in Algerian Eye, with a double backstitch border. They look terrific.
