Hi-
I was just in Madison recently, and I noticed a shop called "Sticher's Crossing." (Though, unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to stop in.) It's on Mineral Point Road, between Whitney Way and Gammon Road. It's across the street from Otto's restaurant, which is a wonder place!

6122 Mineral Point Road Madison, Wisconsin 53705 Tel: 608-232-1500I am not familiar with this store, though, as it opened after I moved from WI to MA. So, I don't know if it's worth a visit at all.
Hope this helps!

I was in Waukasau (sp?) two years ago for my SS's wedding. My DH was willing to take me to a wonderful shop in downtown near the river. I think it's called Paula's canvas and cross-stitch. I found her in the Yellow Pages. Wish I had had more time to spend there!! My credit card was melted. Paula was kind enough to ship my stuff (a very large box) back home to FL for me. Wonderful fibers and books and charts to die for. I wanted to go back last year when we went up for a family reunion, but time got away :( There is also a quilt and needlework store in Racine, mostly quilt stuff, but some XS. There is another shop near Racine, but the name escapes me. I found both of them in the YP. NAJAHC.
Happy shopping, Kar
Thanks for this one, Mickey, I'll be in Madison in a few weeks myself and hadn't even considered looking for an LNS until I saw the OP.

Replying so the information reposts for Gerry Leath. I knew I'd find it somewhere!
