I think I'm the only one on the list now, before Elizabeth does the beading, and metallics, I guess. There's plenty to do still, the wings
and the halo. So if you still want to do some, that would work out fine.
Question for you all: I'm about to leave for a vacation in Europe, and
am a little worried about the possibility of something happening to the
Angel if I take her with me. What do you all think? If it were my project only, I wouldn't care, but so many people have put so much work
into this.
HMMM -- I also have nno problem if you take her with you. I
**would** recommend that she NOT be packed in any of your checked luggage but kept as part of your carry-on luggage. I have schlepped needlework all over the world but it has *always* been in my carry-on!! Another option -- if you have time -- would be to send the Angel to Heather for her to work on a bit while you are away. That would solve the problem of your worry about anything happening to her (which I doubt) and would give Heather another "go" at getting more than just a token amount of stitching done. Either way -- it's up to you. With the hands and those huge wings, there is still a fair amount of work to be done before it goes to Elizabeth for beads and metallics (Meredith-- you did say that E was doing the rest of the metallics -- right?). Whatever you decide, make sure to let us know so we aren't wondering what is happening. IF you take her with you, DO be sure to let Dianne know so that info can be added to the history :-).
