French X-Stitch

Nov 04, 2005 2 Replies

A couple weeks ago, I was in Arizona and went to a needlework store in Mesa that I used to frequent when I lived there 10-15 years ago. They had a large collection of cross stitch models and patterns from France. I liked the patterns very much (a bit pricey). Is this a new trend in US stores, or did the owner just pick these up when she was traveling?

My LNS is carrying some Italian patterns these days - and they are $25.00 and up - they resemble L&L patterns on the surface - but I've not seen the actual pattern itself. They are quite nice but .........

There is The French Needle online shop which carries a lot of French designs...Anagram, Blue de Chin, Long Dog and many more. I know she goes to France quite a bit AND also is a distributor for a lot of various french designs. AND then there are a lot of French Designers now that have their online sites from which we can order AND also which sells to other various LNS'.
