Home again.

My mom used to grow it in our yard, and would make Norwegian fruit soup with it in the summer. Yum! (My family calls it "snot soup" for the way it looked on the few times I've made it. If you can get past the looks to eat it, it's a treat. But my kids won't go there.)

I share books through BookCrossing .com...you label the books and leave them in places that you think they will get picked up, read and passed on...I usually leave them over at the hospital or in the Dr office

How many times at a Dr's office have I wished for something better to read than a 10-year-old copy of Newsweek?

In our office, we had a shoebox in the kitchen, and when people finished a book, they'd put it in the box for co-workers to read. Every few months, someone would send out a "speak now or forever hold your peace" memo, and take all the unwanted books to a used book store that would swap them 2-for-1 or 3-for-2. I got exposed to some things I never would have read otherwise, and enjoyed some more than I thought I would.

Oh, I do that too! Fun when you occasionally get feedback through the site, too.
