Embroiderers Guild (EGA) and ANG (don't remember what the letters stand for)

Oh, there are organizations in the U.S. that will delight and tempt you into more needlework adventures.

(Embroiderers' Guild of America) (Smocking Arts Guild - which delves into a whole lot more than smocking) (devoted to the advancement of embroidery as an art form - lots of programs)That should keep you going for awhile. There are also lace guilds, ANG and I'm sure others I've missed.Dianne

And how about other countries? England, Ireland, Scotland, etc. Or is forming orgs, assns, guilds et al for this love of all kinds of needlework more of a North American phenomenon?

But I'm not computer literate enough to know what's wrong with this address. I get the message "URL is not valid and cannot be loaded". I even took out the letter/number combination behind the .com/ but got the same result. :(
