Yep. I went to my 20th, and everyone raved that I still looked exactly the same. Meanwhile, some of our cute little size 2 cheerleaders had to introduce themselves to everyone because they were now size 22 and 32.

Knowing that red hair doesn't go grey, I'm looking forward to my next one, where I will still look like a teenager next to all those old grey-haired people. :)

What a great reason to be beat. She must be thrilled beyond belief.

Hey Karen,

While it's true that red hair doesn't turn gray, it does fade and gradually turn white so I doubt your hair will be the same color as it was when you were a high school kid.

And don't forget, hair color isn't the only thing that changes.

And plastic surgery and a good colorist can really make a difference.

True, but my dad's 82 this year and it's still strawberry blond, not white, so I figure I have a long way to go.

I'm still passing for 35-and-under, so I don't think I'll deteriorate too fast between now and my next reunion. I do have to get back in remission so I'll lose a little weight (though some of my old clothes still fit, so I guess I could declare that I'm still a size 12?)
