Ohio LNS's......

It's nice to see so many people from Ohio. I have a very good friend who lives in Galion, a sister who lives in Powell, and I'm from Lucas (Mansfield) originally so I am familiar with most of the towns that you all are from.

We do not have a LNS in Newark, so if I need something I can't get online, I visit PawPrints in Worthington (Columbus) and Cross My Heart in Columbus. The needlepoint shop I mentioned in my "newbie" post is called Louise's Needlework shop and it is in Powell, just outside of Columbus. Although, I know I should frequent my LNS's for most of my shopping it is just SO easy to order from on online needlework store and the sales are usually better.

I agree, that's a wonderful store. If you are down the in Cincinnati area, the only LNS in that are is called Keepsakes Framing and Floral. Although you wouldn't know it by the name, they have a very wide selection of stash and I'll need more than the few minutes I had the last time I was there. There is also an LNS in Delaware, The Stitch Stops Here. I prefer Cross My Heart in Columbus, but will run to Delaware if all I need is a specialty thread. It sounds like I need to plan a weekend trip up to the NE part of the state soon, though!

I prefer Cross My

Cross My Heart is near me and I try not to go too often, too many temptations! I was there once when my husband called on my cell phone. I told him I was at Cross My Heart and he thought I was at a bra store and to take my time, so I spent some extra time. I haven't been to the ones in Worthington or Delaware but I do like Cross My Heart as the people are extra friendly.
