How would you use a choker length strand of huge, ivory tone, fake pearls to embellish the project of your choice? Must include stitching, but the rest is up to you!

I found some old necklaces from when obviously fake pearls were in style. At some point, I re-used the clasps, leaving just the pearls. They must have been in a job lot of jewelry I got back in the 80's.

Cartoon-ish fish, with the pearls as bubbles.

Flower centers.

let me contemplate further...I may have more ideas, but that's what jumped to mind.

Define "huge"? Pea-sized? Cherry-sized?

- Parts of skirt/sleeves (i.e. short puffs on the sleeves) of a princess or bride in needlepoint. Or ruff of a queen's cape.

Probably not too gaudy for DD for Halloween. :) Send her out as Lady Astor!

Giggle! after 3-4 years as a "lady bug", for the last 2, she's been a "hockey player" complete with "missing" teeth!

Lady Astor after a hockey game? VBEG

You could put two of the huge pearls on deely bobbers for her ladybug antennae, and she could be a hockey-playing bug.

Or glue a bunch of them on a crown and send her out as the Queen of Hockey Players? Heeeeeeeeeere she is, Miiiiss StanleyCup!

Giggling! I think she'd rather win The Cup!

Cheryl (tired since the game went to double overtime last night!)
