LOL - He got the oatmeal bath, and then a really nice green tea mist finishing spray. He's going to the vet today, and, well, can't take a dirty poosch to his favorite doc. Plus, he hadn't really had a good bath since he started shedding - an amazing amnount of fur came out.
Next time - he'll get the blueberry facial - I just hope instead of brown and white he doesn't come out looking like a bad canine extra from Braveheart.

Who would ever have thought of a recorder as such a beautiful sound. I'm used to hearing it played badly by little kids. Drora truly makes it sound marvelous.

There are a couple around here as well, but they're pretty expensive. We went to the vet yesterday, and the vet, and 2 other people, plus at our LNS stop they were completely thrilled that I'd tried this place. Puckster had a good day - his "grandma" (the breeder) came into the LNS while we were there, then she called "grandpa" to come and see him - took pix. Grandma has become ill a couple of months ago (mid way thru her chemo now) and looks great - but we were so glad to see her. They're really loving breeders, and I think going to help us find a female for Puckster in a couple of months. The dog had a blast - he looks like his sire - only slightly bigger. Poor guy - he gained weight this winter and weighs 66# - though he doesn't look "fat" at all - but now he's on the reduced feed, getting more veggies mixed in with his kibble so that he can get back to 59 #. He's a big springer - and some of the weight is truly muscle - but, still. I don't think he's so happy about the beans and carrots - he'd much rather more cheese.

The "rent-a-dog" gets a steady diet of carrots. I feed him a half a bowl's worth nearly every day he's here.
Someday I'll get to see Puck!
