OT: More disgusting weather !

So the kids just went to bed, after a rather long day. They started to get cranky with each other around lunch, so they spent some time in separate rooms, and then I spent a lot of time refereeing and supervising directly, so didn't get much done. I'll catch up tomorrow. We did get all the snow shoveled, though. It was a bit of a grind because I had to use our metal gardening shovel to chip the ice layer that was underneath the snow, but at least we can get out all the doors. And we definitely need to get outdoors tomorrow ! :)

Did you know you can buy an ice breaker thingie at Crappy Tire ? They look rather like a garden hoe on a stout pole, if you put an edge on the blade with a honing stone so it is somewhat sharp, breaks up ice really well. Otherwise you will ruin your garden spade that way.

Bet you're glad they are now in bed, I can still remember how that felt lol
