Well, things are progressing, if somewhat slowly!
The upstairs studs are now sealed, plumbers are doing their thing (which included tearing a hole in the kitchen ceiling to replace some pipes), the electricians are putting in wiring for overhead lights in all the bedrooms (which was lacking before) and for ceiling fans in the master bedroom and stairway.
We need to pick out paint and carpet. The kids have some wild color ideas, but the other rooms will be more tasteful! lol
I'm working a lot, now that I'm an assistant manager I'm getting at least 40 hrs a week. Doing that and the mom thing and not living at home is wearing me down. I found a job listing that fits me perfectly this morning and sent in my resume. Knock wood for me?
I am knitting a lot, about to finish a wrap from last summer's Knitters Magazine and am starting a blanket shaped poncho from a book I picked up called "Wrap Style". I found a great source for yarn:
Xsting-wise, TW's Welcome is coming along, I have most of the landscape behind the bridge done now. I need to bring it with me when I choose a color for the walls of the foyer! LOL
