Fasinating! First the quilt, then then "necessary" then the cheese. I skipped the calliograpy, that's not very high on my interest list.
The necessary now, I lived in rural NW Kansas befor electricity found its way out there. We lived with the privy (properly made by WPA folk) for years. Interesting memories of the place with the Sears Roebuck and Montgomery Ward catalogs!
