Weird weather...

One minute we are getting snow, to it started to melt on it's own, and then

2 AM it was thundering and raining. That's Wisconsin for you! Carol In WI

We had about 5" of snow on the ground and had tied a record low two nights ago. The snow had compacted a bit yesterday but was still there. Woke up this morning and well over half of the yard is now without snow and the rest is likely to be gone by the end of the day since it is

50 deg. now. The ra> One minute we are getting snow, to it started to melt on it's own, and then

We've had heavy rains (of course, this IS B.C.!) strong winds, snow at the higher elevations, and yesterday a funnel cloud touched down 50 miles east of here. We NEVER get funnel clouds!

Then there was 2004/5. We had 5 major hurricanes in the last 16 months.

Weird weather seems to be the norm nowadays.

California had a frost warning last night. The last line of the e-mail directed us to take precautions with pets and plants. Pet had already taken her own precautions, crawling under the covers with Mom. :)

Hi everyone. I have been lurking on this site for a while now, and I hope you don't mind me just jumping into your conversation about the weather. I am in Texas and it is like spring time here today, 74 degrees and winds gusting up to 60 mph. 2 weeks ago it was in the 30's at night and 50's during the day. Very strange weather for this time of year. Not quite sure whether to keep out the summer or winter clothes.
