I was just looking at Ebay - looked under cross-stitch patterns and there's a one called Nature Fairy - it says digital delivery upon payment. Is this legal?

Depends.
If the seller is the designer, Nathalie had worked up a way to do digital delivery of her and my patterns.
If the seller is selling scans of someone else's work, then no, it's not legal.

I doubt she's the artist since she's also selling digitized Thomas Kinkade artwork. It appears she's collecting images from the internet and using cross stitch software to make them into patterns. This isn't legal unless she has permission.

And if it`s anything like the one in the UK, absolutely swamped with digitised "Designs" from pictures obviously filched from books/greetings cards etc.!
