Hope you decide to buy her- she sounds like she's just been languishing there waiting for you to find her and take her home!

Thanks for the info Leslie. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't being taken. I did go to Ebay and seen that some of them are around $100 plus shipping. But since I can't test drive those, this one looks kinda good. I might go back in Monday and drive her again. How do I find out when she was "born"?

15-91s are awsome machines and GREAT for free moton quilting - I have one set up specifically for this purpose in my sewing room (and about 5 more in my basement, waiting for some TLC)....

Now, I find them locally from $5 on up, and they usually need a REALLY good cleaning, oiling and lubbing. Make sure to check the wiring, which can become brittle over time and thus unsafe.

To find out the year of manufacturer, write down the serial number, and go to Singer's web site:

Good luck!
