A few days ago Val posted a funny about Age Activated Attention DeficitDisorder. Like most of y'all I read it, laughed and forgot about it.Then, today, it happened to me.....Yesterday I realized I needed a lap quilt finished by this weekend.Yikes! I emailed Pat on her hill about it and she very strongly- butgently (vbg)- advised me to finish a rail fence top I had started a fewmonths ago rather than start a top from scratch. Okay. I can do that. I found the rail fence top and decided as long as I was making aquilt, I might as well make it large enough for a twin bed. I cut morebatik strips and made more blocks and added 3 rows to the length- gotthat done last night. I ironed the top and folded it neatly and wentto bed.I was proud of myself for getting the top done, so this morning Iwanted to show Pat a photo of the top... now where to lay it out forthe pic? The kitchen floor was the obvious place but it was a taddirty to lay my newly-finished quilt top out on it. My dogs hate thesound of the vacuum, so as soon as I started it up they all four headedfor the doggy door and the safety of the backyard. I vacuumed thekitchen and mopped the floor.The vacuum was already out and the kitchen floor was wet, so I decidedto vacuum the rest of the house while the floor dried. The living roomlooked even dustier with the carpet clean, so I dusted the furniture.About then Simon decided the vacuum had been quiet for a while and itwas safe to come back inside the house. Wrong. Chased Simon back outand mopped up muddy doggy footprints.As long as the mop and bucket were out, again, I decided to mop thebathrooms, too. But before I could mop, I needed to clean bothbathrooms, so I did. Okay, by now the kitchen floor should be dry. Iunfolded the quilt top, took the pics and refolded the top.Went to my computer to download the pics from the digi-cam. Nope. Thebatteries in the camera were dead now. I checked our battery supplyand found we had about 100 each of every size...

Been out of town for Thanksgiving and just got back to the computer--and that rail fence is REALLY pretty!!!
