Annual Quilting Week: Reminder!

Jan 19, 2007 29 Replies

Whew! Next time, I hope to get ALL the posts on one subject---I'm down to a measly 100 a day--which makes reading them in the AM easier--I read before the painter gets here at 9 AM......not sure what is going on with the local ISP.

I am prepared. 2 quilts in progress set up, 1 to piece, 1 to bind; 1 ready to cut and my favorite tea stocked. Unfortunately I am not allowed sweets, but my tea is nice and sweet! My QI has promised to handle his side of the process so I guess I am ready to go.

Howdy!

Oh, it gets DEEEEEEEP around here, doesn't it?

Watch where you step!!!

Ragmop/Sandy-- quilting with my feet up to avoid the puddles of bullsqwatchy ;-D

Indeed, it has gotten mighty deep. And I have neither the responsibility nor mercy to grant dispensations. Taking no hostages or excuses. I have 47 of 64 big blocks done, 71 little blocks not yet begun. Still have a clean path to the SM and a (somewhat) clear area on the cutting table. Who could ask for more? Wanna borra De Boot or Das Boot? It'll keep you 'safe' whilst this plays out. I'm still using DeDas Boot, so that is unavailable for 3 weeks-then it's yours for the asking.

best be careful too as Ms B has Das Boot on now so she could give a mighty good kick up the jackseat and that could be mighty painful. eeeeek. cheers, jeanne

As soon as we got our power back after the storms I got straight onto it. I'm having a ball. I'll report back on how much achieved after next weekend. This is the first year I've been able to participate fully. Lovely! . In message , Pat in Virginia writes
