Anyone doing the Western Washington Quilt Shop hop?

The map in the flier was useless, so I made my own! But I can't figure out how to share it, for me, it's just under My Maps! Anyway the plan for tomorrow, is Duvall, Woodenville, Quilt Works North West whilst one child is at preschool, then hopefully another 3 in the afternoon, Renton, Des Moines, Auburn and just depending on how long that takes, what we then do, we might manage the two in Tacoma, or maybe one in Puyallup. We also have weekend plans which will need to be confirmed when we find out what Dh's friend want to do.

I intended to go to Quiltworks today, but managed to miss the shop in Woodenville and couldn't turn around for ages, so it's not out of the realms of possibility I'll be there that time tomorrow. We're thinking of doing the Kitsap and Olympic pennisulas on Saturday as we've never been there (we've only lived here since October). Today I did 5 shops, all of which were new to me and mostly in neighbourhoods new to me, it's scary just how few places we've been. I looked at Bellevue on the map and realised just quite how much of it there is south of I-90 and I've literally only been to places just beyond it, like Factoria and Eastgate.

Donna, Is that LQS still there that you and I went to? I still remember the slanted floors/walkway that had patterns all along one side of it. It was kinda neat looking over the walkway into the rest of the room....and that wall of Orientals....oh my........

Unfortunately no, Ms B. That was In The Beginning and the owner closed the store so she and her family could devote more time to designing fabric lines and retiring. I think the time required just was too much. You're welcome to come back and we'll find another one that's just as good. Donna Anne, Did you come into Quiltworks this afternoon with a little girl? There was a young lady with a British accent came in while I was selling raffle tickets. I almost asked if her name was Anne but some sort of shyness overcame me and I didn't ask. I hope I didn't miss my opportunity to meet you. Donna in Bellevue (I live very near Eastgate)

LOL, that was me, unless there was another women with a little girl and a British accent, I chatted with all 3 women in the room at the time and also was overcome with shyness, I was hoping you'd have a badge on, or at least be the only one sat at the raffle quilt table!

Your little one is very cute and she really liked her little scrap of fabric. Funny you should mention my badge...I looked for it just before I left home and couldn't find it. I found it today. It was already in my car. Duh! We'll just have to try again some time for a meet up. Perhaps we can arrange something for August, my July just keeps getting crazier. Donna in Bellevue
