shop hop sampler quilts

Nov 13, 2007 5 Replies

A while back I was thumbing through some magazine, and came across what I think I remember was an advertisement for a shop hop and then a website with different setting ideas for the blocks that one made from patterns given (or possibly purchased) at each of the shops. I thought I book-marked this, but I can't find it now. Does anyone recall what this website may be? Thanks, Nancy

bother bother bother, I know exactly what you mean, but I can't search for it, searching seems to be something that a newsserver needs to support, I'm sure I used to be able to search, but now I get NNTP error xpat not supported, which looks server related to me.

If your search facility works, I know I replied to the post, so you could narrow your search to messages from me and try some plausible titles, I just don't recall whether it had either shop hop or sampler in the title, maybe "setting".

I think it was late August ish as I remember going back to look at the page when I was playing with a particular pile of blocks which I know was about that time.

You've got be curious now! I think I'll have to search on google groups.

There are a few out there... one of the most "popular" is the "Patchwork Party" at several shops on line. You buy the block kits from each shop and each has a finishing kit to make the particular layout for that shop. This one is blocks "designed" by Marti Michell and use of her templates is recommended. I have also seen another one, which doesn't have as many shops involved, and a couple of the shops have 2 block kits. But can't remember that one off hand.

Pati, > bother bother bother, I know exactly what you mean, but I can't search

Was it this one?
